As mentioned before, there are no pre-entry requirements to start your pilot training. You can apply now for your first flight!!
However, please note the following:
A student pilot shall not fly solo unless he or she holds a valid medical certificate. (Class 1 or Class 2) This certificate is delivered either by several Aero Medical Centres located in Brussels or Zaventem.
Details of these medical centres may be found on the website of the Belgian aeronautical administration.
For a Class 2 medical certificate only, you can contact an authorized medical examiner, whose list can be downloaded from the website of the Belgian aeronautical administration.
And finally, a certificate of good conduct is required for the issuance of a training licence.
All the hours that you fly before holding your medical certificate and your training licence will be taken into account in your training. You can begin your flight training before commencing the theory course.
