This year the weather conditions brought us to Germany and Italy for our traditional Pentecost flying weekend.
First stop in Straubing (EDMS) in Germany, then night stop in Trieste (LIPQ), on the shores of the Adriatic sea. The next day we went on till the beautiful island of Elba, between Corsica and Italy, with a very nice approach on the runway of Marina di Campo (LIRJ). On our way back the third day, we stopped in Avignon (LFMV) for a well-deserved lunch break, and reached Charleroi late in the evening after a long leg of 4 hours and 24 minutes!
We got good meteorological conditions all along the way — with the exception of a few CB here and there and relatively difficult conditions on the last day of our trip after we passed Dijon in France — and had the privilege to fly along the Venitian Lagoon, overfly Tuscany and admire the French Riviera in the sun!
