Flying trip to Switzerland (May 2010)

8 pilots and student-pilots from Brussels Aviation School flew to Switzerland during a long weekend in the end of May 2010. We used three aircrafts, 2 Piper Tomahawks and 1 Piper Warrior. We took off from the international airport of Charleroi in the morning of Saturday 22 May and, a few hours later, we landed on the small and pretty airfield of Lausanne, with a breathtaking view over the lake Léman. We split the flight in 3 different legs of roughly 1h30 each, and changed crews for each leg! Same thing for the return journey two days later, which included a beautiful flight across the Alps…
