INTRODUCTORY FLIGHTS
Much more than a maiden flight! You hold the controls of a real airplane!
What is a first flight experience?
During this fantastic experience, you will first get a pre-flight briefing by your instructor, during which you can ask some questions, and you will then fly for approximately 60 minutes! You will go through all the necessary security checks of the airplane, start the engine, take off, learn the basics on how to fly an airplane (climbs, descends, turns), and finally approach and land on the same runway as the one that big airliners use. You do not need to bring anything with you as we provide all necessary equipment for you.
How?
You will take off either from Charleroi – Brussels South international airport, or Namur Airfield, you have the choice!
Your flight instructor (who is a duly qualified pilot to give instruction) will show you how to manoeuvre the airplane in the air, how to navigate according to visual flight rules (VFR), as well as basic take-off and landing techniques. You will hold the controls of an aircraft for real!
This discovery flight can be undertaken in a two-seater airplane (Piper Tomahawk PA38), from Charleroi airport, but if one or two of your relatives or friends wishes to accompany you, the flight can be done in a three-seater (from Namur airfield) or even in a four-seater airplane (from Charleroi airport). These are Piper Warrior Airplanes PA28, with Glass Cockpit.

Tours around Brussels may be organised from the airport of Charleroi with the four-seater airplane, depending on the traffic conditions on the day the flight takes place.
