Basic Instrument rating
Our flight school is approved by the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) for offering training to private pilots in order to obtain the Basic Instrument Rating (BIR). This qualification offers the opportunity for private pilots to fly under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) in Europe.
We provide IFR training on a Piper PA28-161 Warrior III (with a full glass cockpit and autopilot). We also have a brand new Flight Simulator (ALSIM AL-250).
The BIR is a new European (EASA) rating that is specifically designed to meet the needs of the private pilot who wants to be able to depart, cruise and arrive at destination when the weather conditions do not allow visual flight.
Please contact us for more information or in order to get a detailed quote.
